Notable persons
editI am considering deleting the "Notable Persons" section. It seems to just be out of place in this article. Anybody else to comment? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.253.236.220 (talk) 02:29, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- Remove it, there is no reason to have it.P0PP4B34R732 (talk) 02:43, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
Very well. Would anyone also happen to have any historical facts that can be cited? So far as I can tell that is the part that is most lacking.--75.253.236.220 (talk) 02:49, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- Many cities have a Notable Persons section. I see no reason why you removed it. --Mjrmtg (talk) 16:42, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
That is understandable, however this town is rather small and has relatively few Notable Persons worth explicit mention.--75.204.224.111 (talk) 16:45, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
- If those people that were in the notable section were truly from Live Oak then I believe they should be mentioned. --Mjrmtg (talk) 17:03, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
- The majority of the people listed in the Notable section were there because they went on to different sports teams. The only "Notable" person that I remember from the list was a gentleman who tried to assassinate a vice president. Even that could be better incorporated into some other section that could be written, such as one dealing with the history or such.--75.204.224.111 (talk) 23:53, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
