Also, I was examining a specimen of this species (still not that common in NJ, United States) last night and noticed the extreme length of their tongue (over 9 mm). *Lithurgus chrysurus* has the second-longest glossa of all bees in our region, and its total tongue length is exceeded only by a few long-tongued *Bombus* species. ^[1] Muniche (talk) 14:05, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
