name edit

Current names is not very accurate as tautininkai is not the same as nationalists. So translation is a bit awkward. I think leaving in the name original tautininkai would be better. M.K. (talk) 13:37, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tautininkai is from "tauta" which is "nation". I think the translation is accurate. Renata (talk) 14:02, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, meaning of tautininakai and nacionalistai is different in LT language. look at (http://www.lkz.lt/startas.htm ) tautiniñkas - tautiškai susipratęs, tautos reikalais gyvenantis žmogus, patriotas; nacionlistas - nacionalizmo šalininkas. It think if we translate Nationalist back to LT it would be nacionalistas rather then tautininkas. Thereofre my proposal to use tautininkai stands. M.K. (talk) 13:20, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Tautininkas is Lithuanian equivalent of "nationalist" the same way as "vaizduoklis" is equivalent of "monitorius." Instead of using an international word, they made up a Lithuanian equivalent. The policies were the same (with local variations, of course). The fact that "nationalist" became a bad word on WP is entirely different matter. Renata (talk) 22:21, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I like your reference to "vaizduoklis". However I will stick to my previous position. Will see, perhaps others will have different opinion too. M.K. (talk) 13:21, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Claims that the party distanced itself from fascism in 1932 are false edit

The party did not distance itself from fascism in 1932, it attended the 1934 Montreux Fascist conference.--R-41 (talk) 20:05, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
