@WAgoesalphanumeric: The photo you posted as a reference proves something, but I am not sure what. Do you have any evidence re the start and finish of the route? Is there any evidence of a TD24 in Townsville, for which this might be an alternate route for part of it? Perhaps there is a brochure not available on line that would be a reliable source. Stratgic routes

Consider adding callsigns to the alphabetical routes on the top of the article to make it easier to tell which callsign to follow. Jordf32123 (talk) 03:07, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

Some tourist routes now use yellow letters inside of rectangles. Maybe put them in. And some have symbols instead of numbers. Jordf32123 (talk) 02:37, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

@Jordf32123: I guess you mean like PCW in a rectangle (for Pacific Coast Way), or a sign showing a koala (or whatever) for a particular route. This is not something I would attempt; perhaps if you can supply the requirements someone else may relish it (subject to copyright etc.) Downsize43 (talk) 22:16, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
