Talk:List of tallest buildings and structures in Auckland

This page should be removed

edit

Seeing as the Tallest Structures in NZ page is far more up to date and displays the same info about Auckland's tallest buildings, the 2 pages should be merged. Ethanjosiah (talk) 02:10, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

I disagree for the following reasons:
  • The List of tallest structures in New Zealand does not display the same info, as Wellington buildings are intermixed.
  • If the Auckland list is out of date, the appropriate action is to update it, rather than to delete it.
  • I'm currently working on the equivalent page for Christchurch. Whilst those buildings aren't as tall as in Auckland or Wellington, that list is desirable to have, as most of Christchurch's 'Top 10' are coming down. It would appear odd to have a Christchurch list, but argue at the same time that we shouldn't have the Auckland list. Schwede66 02:25, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've just moved the Christchurch list into article space. Schwede66 18:13, 14 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Missing

Emporis believes that the Tower Centre should be part of the list, as they have it at 70.13 m. Schwede66 10:06, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Same with 92 Albert Street (height given as 70.0 m) Schwede66 04:02, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
