Can someone please check the figures for area of drainage basin? The figure for the River Tyne is certainly incorrect and I suspect others might also be incorrect. Jaraalbe (talk) 13:11, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is a unique request, as the figures for about 10 rivers from one source gives 10 input sources, then 8 rivers are listed in a separate source, and then there is some overlap, and they don't match. So another source is sought out, and then there are three numbers for the same river. It was very interesting. So it would be excellent to have one source which lists all, so that the same base was used. SriMesh | talk 02:44, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
This GA article Columbia River has a lovely table for its tributaries and cites both the river discharge by volume and the area, which may help alleviate the above conundrum, of different sources. The table could also include river length if citations could possibly be found for that as well.

The article could talk more completely about tributaries, what countries, directions the rivers run as compared to the North Sea for folks not living in Europe. The article could mention what major cities, and dams are affecting the rivers, and then they would also be affecting the North Sea. What are the main main river basins? Are there any major lakes, or streams contributing to the river basin catchment area which are notable? I there anything else about the river basin catchment areas which may affect the North Sea? Skjern Å vs Gudenå edit

Danish wikipedia calls the discharge of Gudenå lesser but gives the same figures. I hope somebody will research the original sources.--Ulamm (talk) 21:35, 29 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
