Chernobyl Death Toll incorrect according to the WHO
editKyshtym deaths uncited and inconsistent with page
editThe Kyshtym deaths states that there are estimates up to 9,000 but provides no citation. The article for the Kyshtym disaster states that there were 200 substantiated deaths from radiation sickness, the 9,000 figure should be cited or removed. The best source I found is Britanica, which only says that at least hundreds died (https://www.britannica.com/event/Kyshtym-disaster). On the same article it also says that the disaster covered 9000 square miles and 10,000 people were evacuated, so maybe that caused confusion? 210.0.159.194 (talk) 04:33, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
