List is at the bottom of the page, must be moved to the top. No clue what the issue is, sequence in source is correct. EnTerbury (talk) 06:45, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

The stated figure of 125 deaths is dubious, based on the total of 130 deaths attributed to MK in total.

What is a Massacre?

I think some of this page needs to be re-thought. Either it is about actual massacres, and "... x number of people were injured" type entries should be completely removed, or the title should be changed to something else more appropriate. 14:33, 3 March 2021 (UTC)

The table has been added to with the Boer Ware Concentration Camps, with a reference to the Guardian Newspaper. The term Massacre seems to indicate an intention to kill, the Guardian article clearly shows that Milner and others were horrified that children continued to die in the concentration camps, so it seems that there was no intention to kill the inmates. I don't point this out to exonerate the British, but to make sure we are being as precise as we can with our words and definitions. My feeling is that the Boer War Concentration Camps don't qualify as a Massacre because of a lack on intention to kill. Wayne Jayes (talk) 12:40, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

I came here to say something similar about the Life Esidimeni scandal deaths, which I don't think constitute a massacre. Although the government was clearly at fault, I doubt the deaths were intentional, and the patients died mostly due to negligence, over several months, in a handful of different care facilities. Editing to add: I'd also argue that "Landmines planted on farm roads" by MK are not a massacre. One group killing many people over many years using one method doesn't imply a massacre. In a massacre, I think, the killings are connected by something more particular than perpetrator and/or method. Jlalbion (talk) 14:45, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
