Turning into a disambig

This page previously redirected to the Battle of France, but I am now turning it into a Disambig as this term can refer to a number of invasions that have taken place. I have had added only a few so far, so the list needs expanding in the long run.Lord C (talk) 02:09, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Similar to the Invasion of Great Britain page there are possibilities here for this to be expanded into an article on the concept of Invansions of France as well as a brief history recounting the various invasions and invasion attempts. Lord C (talk) 02:22, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

What counts as France?

Does invasion of land ruled by France, but is now outside its borders count? For example, Britain invaded French colonies in North America. Remorse24 (talk) 02:37, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

I would stick to metropolitan France. One is unlikely to say "invasion of France" to refer to an invasion of French Canada. Srnec (talk) 03:42, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
