Identifying the state route 66's that are remnants of the former US Route 66 edit

Currently we've got an entirely redundant situation with the state route 66's that are remnants of US route 66. They are identified by an asterisk (*) in a list, but then the list is grouped so they are all together in a sublist. IMHO, one or the other needs to go as this is duplication and making things more complicated, not less. My first instinct is to eliminate the * in the list. Before eliminating that, is there value in keeping the duplicate list? Dave (talk) 21:21, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Moabdave: I agree that one has to go. However, I think the asterisks should remain, and the highways be alphabetized by state, like the normal convention of these pages. Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 00:26, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
