Split

This needs to be split into separate lists for musical theatre and musical films. There is no reason for them to be combined in the same list. Trivialist (talk) 23:08, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

@Trivialist: The proposal has gone unopposed and I think it should be split. Most of this article is dedicated to the films and the theatre productions seem off here would be better spun off into their own article. Gotitbro (talk) 02:37, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

Missing "Grease" from your Top List

@Steveazo: Thanks. Grease was accidentally removed in April when somebody added a new entry.[1] I have restored it.[2] PrimeHunter (talk) 19:00, 16 July 2022 (UTC)

Jukebox

I am working on dividing this list to original and jukebox if anyone wants to help see User:Fanoflionking/Fanoflionking notes

There is an extreme fundamental misunderstanding of what a jukebox musical here on the list. A remake of a musical or one based on a stage show absolutely does not make it a jukebox musical. Jukebox musicals are musicals that use songs that were written before and independently from the story. JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 16:28, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
