I realize this is "original research" but I can attest that the closed date of 1991 for the Tidal Wave is incorrect because I operated that ride in the summer of 1997.

Are you entirely sure? The Roller Coaster Database states that Tidal Wave was relocated and was running as Viper at Six Flags Over Georgia during 1997, another website, http://www.coasterchild.com/parkinfo/history.html, says that it was relocated after the 1991 season as well.
