Is there a defined selection criteria for this list? Are these 'notable' firearms? Or every firearm model ever named? Or..? Whatever the case, the article needs to have a lead describing its contents and criteria, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Stand-alone lists Rezin (talk) 23:13, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

The best splitting I could think of would be giving each letter or a set of letters their own article (depending on the length) and this article be the main hub with the redirect links AtomicAndy8044 22:23, 17 January 2024 (EST)
Where is the name chassepot or fusil gras shot gun? edit
i think fusil gras or chassepot guns made by a french firearms manufacturer in 1864. Also you cant see the argyle firearms here. 203.189.188.184 (talk) 02:55, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
