Talk:List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom

Order edit

The Order here is alphabetical, as are List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia and List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of Ireland and List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of Great Britain and List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of England and List of baronetcies in the Baronetage of Ireland. - Kittybrewster 19:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Should "de Bathe" et al. be under "D" or "B?" Most of them are listed with a capital "D," but a couple use lowercase "d." Should they be made consistent with each other? Should it be based on actual usage by the baronet in question? Laura1822 18:14, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I would go for d rather than B. I think D is an error. - Kittybrewster 22:14, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Size split? edit

Split - Article is over 100 kB and should be split due to size. Thoughts? Suggestions?--Jax 0677 (talk) 17:38, 29 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

You might get away with groups of letters since the list isn't going to grow much. The template in List of Amiga games looks good. Op47 (talk) 22:50, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Confusion over United Kingdom and other jurisdictions of Baronetcies edit

The peerage of the United Kingdom started in 1801. It is separate from Peerages within the United Kingdom. As such the splitting up of the page has removed all baronetcies post-1801 from being in a list on Wikipedia. This list was for all the post-1801 ones. I believe it should be put chronologically like all other peerage lists, but otherwise must remain.
