The scare scare scaresdays preview for october 29, 2009 showed Owen with an electric guitar (which means Rock n' Rule). so I bet he is coming back--24.45.34.70 (talk) 16:13, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

why the hell does everyone think its an anime parody? one, the title its parodying is a CHINESE martial arts movie,a nd its not even animated! wtf? —Preceding unsigned comment added by CNGLITCHINFO (talkcontribs) 19:07, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Irrelevant?

This article seems to be irrelevant because we already have two separate articles covering this page- List of Total Drama Island episodes and List of Total Drama Action episodes. I don't want to propose this article for deletion because I want to know what other users think, though there seems to be only a few posts on the talk page. --DragonofFire (龙火) 18:06, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

I've pointered out to the stand-alone lists; the only content really left here is the flip books. Is that enough to warrant a page? Is this title really useful as a pointer to the other list articles? I'm thinking the flip books can be merged in somewhere else, and this can either be deleted or redirected, if we can find an appropriate target in the parent series article. —C.Fred (talk) 18:28, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
Maybe it could be a disambiguation page or something. Besides, there are no pages that we can redirect this page to without confusing people, and if it is deleted, people might be unable to find the Total Drama Island/Action episodes. --Hadger 00:11, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
No, they can find the Total Drama Island/Action/ episodes on the main TDI or TDA article. --DragonofFire (龙火) 03:03, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
I meant they can find the link there. --DragonofFire (龙火) 20:28, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
We don't have to delete this page. I'll just make this article into a guide to the episodes and if anyone wants to read the summaries for the episodes they can just go the seperate episode articles which every sesaon has, which this page will have links to Giggett (talk) 21:04, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

TDWT Episodes

I think we should start the normal episode list for TDWT now. We should just put the episodes that have already aired, and not "Super Happy Crazy Fun Time in Japan", "Anything Yukon Do I Can Do Better", or "Broadway, Baby", even though they are alredy confirmed. I mean, we know the last two seasons people were putting episodes that hadn't aired yet. Anyone agree?Mayberrl (talk) 18:24, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Two more episodes are confirmed

I will get the link(s) soon! (98.231.218.47 (talk) 20:09, 15 July 2010 (UTC))

Okay the first one is abc.net.au/tv/guide/abc3/201008/programs/ZX0917/A006D2010-08-04T173000.htm I might've typed some stuff wrong, sorry. Okay, and the second one is...the same thing wow lol. peace!

ps ep 7 is Aftermath: Birdgette Over Troubled Water, a reference to the song Bridge Over Troubled Water, and Ep 8 is The Am-AH-Zon race, a reference to the show The producers are spoofing, The Amazing Race.

:) Giggett (talk) 21:38, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Remove 2013 in the Timeline?

I think that we should remove 2013 in the timeline per WP:CRYSTAL. I know that there is a source confirming that season five will be aired in 2013, but we don't know which month it will be aired in. If we remove the orange color, though, it will seem to imply that no episodes will be aired in 2013, so we should just remove 2013 altogether until an airdate for season five is confirmed. :) Hadger 23:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Well I remember last year we did the same thing for Season 4 with the purple blocks in Summer 2011. So I see why not do the same thing this time. We can assume that Season 5 will air next summer since pre-production already started, and that it takes 1 year to make a season. Also, the U.S. always airs a season in June so just by saying that Season 5 will air in 2013, it's a no-brainer that Season 5 will air in June 2013 on the U.S. Giggett (talk) 23:52, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
True, but there's always a possibility that that will change. Hadger 23:59, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Well, that is why we can edit the tables, if it ever changes, then we just adjust the table to the new settings. We did this like 5 times for TDRI. I remember the table first saying June 2011 for TDRI, then September, then October, then January 2012, and finally June. I won't mind changing the tables 5 times again for this new season. :P Giggett (talk) 00:02, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, but we might be providing readers with inaccurate information. How about we use a color with the description "It is unknown whether or not an episode will be aired within this time" and cover all of 2013 with it? Hadger 00:22, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Okay, then. You do have a point. I'll go ahead and shrink 2013 to one block and remove the months for now. Giggett (talk) 01:01, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Elimination Tables

Do you think we should add the elimination reasons to the Elimination Tables, since the foreign wikis did that? Agent Perry 17:11, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

No. That kind of detail is better handled in the prose of the episode summary (if it's presented at all). —C.Fred (talk) 17:13, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
Just so you know, other versions of Wikipedia may have different policies and guidelines than the English version of Wikipedia, which is perfectly fine. :) Hadger 03:52, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Well even though other Wikis still have the old elimination tables that contain over 26 rows of headers and massive detail, those tables should not be placed here on Wikipedia. So as C.Fred said, if you want you can go ahead and write all the elimination detail you want on the episode summaries, which is perfectly fine. However, the tables that are currently located right now on this article are still okay to be kept since they only present the simple information (who was eliminated) and nothing else like which team won and lost or which character got immunity. So I have to oppose too. Giggett (talk) 20:10, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

@Reply to Hadger, Giggett, and C.Fred:
This is what the Elimination Table would look like. (I based it off the table from the Total Drama page on the Brazilian wikipedia):

Rank Name Team Merge Episode Eliminated Reason
22 Ezekiel Killer Bass Non-Merged 1st Voted Off in "Not So Happy Campers - Part 2" His comments about women angered the female contestants, especially Bridgette and Eva.
- Eva Killer Bass 2nd Voted Off in "The Big Sleep" She accused the Killer Bass of stealing her mp3 player, even though Heather was the one who stole it.
21 Noah Screaming Gophers 3rd Voted Off in "Picture This!" He refused to help the Screaming Gophers in the dodgeball game.
20 Justin Screaming Gophers 4th Voted Off in "Not Quite Famous" Heather convinced her alliance, Izzy, and Owen to vote him off.
19 Katie Killer Bass 5th Voted Off in "The Sucky Outdoors" Katie and Sadie got lost in the woods, costing their team the win.
18 Tyler Killer Bass 6th Voted Off in "Phobia Factor" He cost his team the challenge.
- Izzy Screaming Gophers Left in "Up the Creek" Before the final marshmallow could be given to Izzy or Lindsay, the RCMP shows up, and chases Izzy out of the show. She returns in "No Pain, No Game".
17 Cody Screaming Gophers 8th Voted Off in "Paintball Deer Hunter" He was badly mauled by a bear, leading to his elimination since his team thought he wasn't useful anymore.
16 Beth Screaming Gophers 9th Voted Off in "If You Can't Take the Heat..." The Screaming Gophers found out that Beth cursed the team.
15 Sadie Killer Bass 10th Voted Off in "Who Can You Trust?" Courtney convinced her team to vote off Sadie, for pelting her with apples, even after LeShawna and Owen won the challenge already.
14 Courtney Killer Bass 11th Cheated Off in "Basic Straining" Harold rigged the votes to get revenge on Duncan for his harassment towards Harold.
13 Harold Killer Bass 12th Voted Off in "X-treme Torture" He lost the challenge when he was distracted by Heather's chest.
12 Eva Killer Bass Merged 13th Voted Off in "No Pain, No Game" She was voted off, again, since her abuse was a threat to the contestants.
11 Trent Screaming Gophers 14th Voted Off in "Search and Do Not Destroy" When Gwen saw Trent kiss Heather (although it was a set-up by Heather), she told LeShawna to vote off Heather. Since she won immunity, Trent was sent packing instead.
10 Bridgette Killer Bass 15th Voted Off in "Hide and Be Sneaky" Heather's refusal to vote with Bridgette, Gwen, and LeShawna allowed the guys to succeed in voting off Bridgette.
9 Lindsay Screaming Gophers 16th Eliminated in "That's Off the Chain!" Even though Lindsay came in second, Owen and Duncan never finished the race, making Lindsay the automatic loser.
8 DJ Killer Bass 17th Eliminated in "Hook, Line, and Screamer!" Heather freaked DJ out when he saw her in a towel and face mask.
7 Izzy Screaming Gophers 18th Voted Off in "Wawanakwa Gone Wild!" She was voted off for tranquilizing the plane, a unicorn, Chef Hatchet, and Heather.
6 Geoff Killer Bass 19th Voted Off in "Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon" His popularity was a threat to the other contestants.
5 LeShawna Screaming Gophers 20th Voted Off in "Haute Campture" A misconception from the eliminated contestants accidentally sent her packing.
4 Duncan Killer Bass 21st Voted Off in "Are We There Yeti?" Voted off due to his brashness.
3 Heather Screaming Gophers 22nd Eliminated in "I Triple Dog Dare You" She didn't technically accept the dare.
2 Gwen Screaming Gophers Runner-Up in "The Very Last Episode, Really!" She lost to Owen in the final part of the race. Winner in Norway, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Denmark, and Asia.
1 Owen Screaming Gophers Winner in "The Very Last Episode, Really!" He managed to outlast Gwen in the race. Runner-Up in Norway, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Denmark, and Asia.

Agent Perry 04:47, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

Well the table looks pretty good, but I think that the "Reason" column might be too trivial, so it would be better to leave everything as it is, but I'll wait and see if anyone else has an opinion on this before we make any big changes. Giggett (talk) 06:13, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
In fact, I ran a test to see what Wikipedia would look like with my updated Elimination Tables. (as shown here).<-- I worked so hard on the table, to make it look like a fusion of the "Elimination" page on the Total Drama Wiki and the Elimination charts (here on Wikipedia). Agent Perry 06:45, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Well I agree with you. The tables look completely fine and you can go ahead and add them to the article if you want, but let's just wait if someone else says anything first. I might have to do some tweaking also to the tables so they won't look so smashed, like adding a bunch of width parameters and "<br />" cells. Giggett (talk) 17:53, 4 September 2012 (UTC)

TDA Elimination Table

Can we list Courtney as "4th" and Owen as "3rd" since we know that it was Courtney who was eliminated before Owen in "Top Dog"? This can be proven by the episode, itself. If you listen closely, Chris eliminates Courtney (putting her in 4th), right before he gets fired (eliminating Owen in the Final Three). That's the only thing I would change about this article. Agent Perry 05:30, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes, you are right, go ahead and change it. Giggett (talk) 05:32, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
The only thing that we would keep about the "Double Elimination", on the TDA, TDWT, and TDRI tables, is Geoff/Bridgette, Blaineley/Courtney, and Brick/Anne Maria, since they left together on their elimination episodes. As for the others, on the TDWT table, Izzy and DJ in Jamaica, and Cody and Alejandro/Heather (Depending on where the TDWT Finale is played), we can also leave their placings as is, because they left at different times in the same episode. In Jamaica, Izzy was removed early in the episode, while DJ was eliminated in the end, as always. Same here for Hawaiian Punch/Aloha Finale. Agent Perry 04:43, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Do the elimination tables belong here?

I don't think that the elimination tables belong here since this is article is about the episodes of the Total Drama series, not the eliminations. I think that they should be either removed or moved to a different article. Does anyone else agree? Hadger 21:35, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Well they used to be in the characters article, but then I moved them here since the characters article was getting too big. Also, eliminations occur on every episode, so I'm pretty sure that eliminations are somewhat related to the episodes they are in, but if you want to move them to the season aricles, then go ahead, but I'm sure that they will end up being removed like last time if you put them there. Giggett (talk) 22:40, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Should we get rid of the elimination tables?

We should remove the elimination tables. I think that they're redundant. The eliminations are already listed in the episode lists. Plus, it's pretty confusing with all the colors. I also think that it's fancruft. Does anyone else agree? Hadger 18:39, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Tables have been here for over 4 years. They have only been moved around, but never removed. Also, removing the tables won't be of any benefit since the quality rating for this article can't go any higer that it's current "list" rating. So I say just leave everything as it is. Giggett (talk) 18:50, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Actually, it can get a higher rating. There are featured lists. It's not about the page's rating, though. Just because it can't get rated higher doesn't mean that it shouldn't be improved. Removing the tables would be a benefit because it would help make the article more encyclopedic. Anyways, sure, the tables have been here for four years, but I still think that they should be removed. I think that they're too trivial and redundant. Hadger 19:44, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Season Five Tables

Since half of the cast is confirmed to compete, with 10 to be exact (Cameron, Courtney, Dawn, Duncan, Heather, Lightning, Lindsay, Mike, Owen, and Sierra), is it okay to put the tables up, since the new characters (debuting mid-season) aren't going to be confirmed until the series is halfway finished (either episode 13 or 14)? Agent Perry 23:40, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

What's the source? If it's something like Twitter, you shouldn't. :) Hadger 03:20, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
I removed the Season 5 elimination table since basically nothing is confirmed yet and I rather wait for Teletoon or Cartoon Network to confirm it, than to rather have an empty table for 3 months and have anonymous users edit it and guess all the characters. Giggett (talk) 21:30, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
Dawn is NOT competing based on what the script said plus Courtney is with the Heroic Hamsters not the Vultures. Take another good look at that script and you see her name right above Lindsay's. Plus Gwen is with the Vultures. There needs to be a change between teams on this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.176.33 (talk) 16:48, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
Where did you get all this information? Nowhere does it say in which teams the contestants are going to be on, only that there are going to be 13 contestants and that 7 will be in Heroes and 6 in Villains, but that's it. So I'm gonna go ahead and remove any team information from here. Giggett (talk) 20:57, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Look at Dawn's VA'S facebook it explains it there. Next ACTUALLY examine the pic where it showed the 14 contestants not 13.. You'll be able to see the Heroes side of it. But do whatever you want. I've told you the information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.176.33 (talk) 21:35, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

https://twitter.com/TheKidKD Kevin Duhaney one of the voice actors from the show just tweeted all The voice actors including Christian Potenza on what the final cast will be. The pic is fan-made yes but he wouldn't have shown this on his Twitter to his co-workers and everyone else if it had no significance. Plus he was the guy who revealed the season's name a month before it was confirmed. So that pic represents the FOURTEEN All-Stars competing this season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.176.33 (talk) 16:41, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

Noah "Cheated Out" in "I See London..."

I have a theory how Noah was cheated off in that episode. Even though Owen and him found Jack the Ripper, Chris McLean gave Team Amazon immunity, because Gwen and Courtney caught Duncan, who Chris was looking for. This led to Noah's Eimination. Who agrees that this theory stated that Noah was actually cheated off? 184.2.171.10 (talk) 14:18, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

More importantly, do any independent reliable sources document the theory? Wikipedia is not a place to publish original research; editors' theories about why things happened do not belong in articles. —C.Fred (talk) 15:15, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
If you watch the episode ("I See London..."), the it tells you why Noah was cheated off. In other words, Noah was eliminated because Chris gave immunity to Team Amazon for finding Duncan, even though Noah and Owen were the ones who actually found Jack the Ripper.184.2.171.10 (talk) 16:13, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
And how does that lead to the conclusion of cheating? I don't follow the train of logic. —C.Fred (talk) 16:33, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
Chris gave the win to Team Amazon, even though Noah's team found the REAL Ripper, which was the actual premise of that day's challenge. Therefore, Noah was cheated out of TDWT, because of Chris's decision to make Team Amazon the winners for finding Duncan. 184.2.171.10 (talk) 17:23, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
That wasn't really being cheated-out, since it was Team Chris' decision to vote off Noah, not Chris himself. So Noah was voted off by his team, which is not being cheated out. Giggett (talk) 22:52, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that image is official, and it does confirms that Gwen is with the Villains and that Courtney is with the Heroes. Giggett (talk) 16:30, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Sierra: Voted off or Eliminated

Not letting it return to a repeat of the Noah fiasco of "I See London...", I think it's best if we talk about suggesting changes for Sierra's elimination in "Suckers Punched". Was Sierra eliminated (due to an elimination twist where the Villainous Vultures picked off Sierra so she can return to the real Cody, as Cameron states it) or voted off (since the winners got to vote unanimously)? Place your thoughts. 76.89.202.233 (talk) 23:19, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Both endings are official

After one person told me that "both endings are official, since it is shown where you live", I decided to share this with you:

Rank Name Team Episode eliminated in Reason Team status
Returns ♂ Duncan None 1st quit in
"Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 1"
Returns in "I See London..."
He refused to sing a reprise of "Come Fly With Us" after having to listen to Gwen and Courtney's bickering. Pre-teams
18 ♂ Ezekiel Team Victory 2nd voted out in
"Walk Like An Egyptian - Part 2"
He lost his team's advantage to the alligators so probably everyone on Team Victory vote him off. Non-merged
17 ♂ Harold Team Victory 3rd quit in
"Super Happy Crazy Fun Time in Japan"
He quit in place of DJ just to save his team's honor.
16 ♀ Bridgette Team Victory 4th voted out in
"Anything Yukon Do, I Can Do Better"
She got stuck to a pole, causing her team to lose.
15 ♀ Leshawna Team Victory 5th voted out in
"Slap Slap Revolution"
When she did slapped Heather and pushed her off the platform, she slapped her and jumped off the platform, and cost her team the win.
14 ♀ Lindsay Team Victory 6th eliminated in
"Can't Help Falling in Louvre"
In the tiebreaker challenge, her design was considered funny but not fashionable. As a result, DJ (who was trying to throw the challenge to get himself eliminated) was spared from elimination, much to his dismay.
13 ♀ Izzy
(Brainzilla)
Team Chris is Really4 Hot 7th left in
"Jamaica Me Sweat"
Although Izzy is not officially voted off, the government viewed her as an asset, removing Izzy from the game.
12 ♂ DJ Team Victory 8th eliminated in
"Jamaica Me Sweat"
He was the last standing member of Team Victory, and Alejandro cheated by setting up a piece of wood which made him be automatically eliminated. This was the first time an entire team was eliminated before the merger.
11 ♂ Noah Team Chris is Really4 Hot 9th cheated out in
"I See London..."
Alejandro discovered Noah's mistrust of him, so he convinced Tyler and Duncan to vote him off.
10 ♂ Tyler Team Chris is Really4 Hot 10th voted out in
"The Ex-Files"
He lost the challenge for Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot, when he was a victim of the landmines. Duncan also convinced Alejandro do not vote off for him so they can vote Tyler off.
9 ♀ Gwen Team Amazon 11th cheated out in
"Picnic at Hanging Rock"
She lost the tiebreaker challenge to Courtney, which was obviously rigged due to her eucalyptus allergy. Another reason for Gwen's elimination was because her kiss with Duncan was revealed two episodes back, courtesy of Alejandro and Tyler.
8 ♂ Owen Team Chris is Really4 Hot 12th voted out in
"Niagara Brawls"
Alejandro convinced Duncan, Heather, and Sierra to vote off Owen because he was a threat, knowing he won a previous season. Merged
7 / 6 ♀ Blaineley None 13th/14th voted out in
"Chinese Fake-out"
Heather spotted Blaineley, Alejandro and Courtney cheating in the final part of the challenge, as Blaineley had better food, and Alejandro crouched down to give his food to Courtney. Thanks to Heather, Blaineley and Courtney tied on votes. Instead of having a tiebreaker challenge, they were both sent packing, due to the show's budgetary constraints.
♀ Courtney Team Amazon
5 ♂ Duncan Team Chris is Really4 Hot 15th voted out in
"African Lying Society"
Heather and Alejandro voted him off in a 2-1-1-1 vote.
4 ♀ Sierra Team Amazon 16th disqualified in
"Awwwwww, Drumheller"
Even though Alejandro was originally supposed to be eliminated in that episode, Sierra interrupted the ceremony to get Cody's birthday cake. The firecrackers, which Sierra used in place of the actual candles, accidentally blew up the place and Chris' plane. In a fit of rage, Chris disqualified Sierra despite winning immunity that day.
3 ♂ Cody Team Amazon 17th eliminated in
"Hawaiian Punch"
Heather, hoping to beat Alejandro in a vote, managed to trick Cody by claiming that "Sierra was trapped in quicksand". This allowed Alejandro to knock out Cody.
2 / 1 ♂ Alejandro Team Chris is Really4 Hot Winner in
"Hawaiian Punch"
Alejandro won when Heather accidentally tossed his dummy in the volcano.
Runner-up in Heather's ending.
2 / 1 ♀ Heather Team Amazon Winner in
"Hawaiian Punch"
She manipulated Alejandro, which led to her victory.
Runner-up in Alejandro's ending.

Even though TDI is a Canadian show, I decided that both endings should be shown since they are technical (based on where any fan lives). Plus, If I were to do the same changes to the elimination tables, then I would replace the "WINNER" and "RUNNER UP" words with "FINALS", since both endings are canon.

Note 1: Although Alejandro won the World Tour in Canada, I put the list in alphabetical order, since his name comes much earlier in the alphabet than Heather's.

Note 2: The winner info on the Character pages will remain the same, because of the Canadian flag. RegularShow (talk) 00:08, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

  • Oppose. The established practice is to use the country of origin for things like airdates, episode titles, and variations in plotlines. That seems to make the most sense here: use the Canadian ending as the main entry for the table and explain other endings in notes. —C.Fred (talk) 19:43, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
Agree with C.Fred, even though there are two valid winners for each season, this is a Canadian show, so we all go by the Canadian version of the season finale, and that goes for all the Total Drama related articles. Giggett (talk) 19:50, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
So what you're trying to prove is that despite the fact that neither of us (you and me) live in Canada, we have to follow C.Fred, both a wikipedia admin and a fan of Total Drama, and Teletoon's footsteps on the winners? 76.89.202.233 (talk) 23:33, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Support: We should list two winners per season to appease the Non-Canadian fans. In that way, no one would alter the winners. 76.89.202.233 (talk) 23:16, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Original air dates on episode lists

The "original" air dates listed for each episode on the episode lists are the Canadian air dates, even if the episodes aired in another country first. I think either the air dates should be changed to when they first aired ever or change the title to "Canadian air date." Also, I don't know how to reply to talk page posts, but I agree both endings should be considered official.Tdlover18 (talk) 23:32, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Canada is the country of origin where the series is first created, therefore it is best to add the air dates of the original network channel of that country of origin. Adding USA airdates for Total Drama and calling it "original" is like adding Australian airdates for the series, 24 and calling it "original". It doesn't matter who airs it first, Canada will always be the country of origin for this series, unless Cartoon Network takes on full production in the future. Giggett (talk) 23:37, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Updated production codes

I updated the production codes using this http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/total-drama/listings/ because it is what is used on the season 5 page and on the Ridonculous Race page for production codes. I hope that's okay. 70.188.184.104 (talk) 23:13, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
