editShould the list of members on the TV show be in alphabetical order, order of appearance, or order of membership? Should it even be there? Forlong 19:14, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
I'd like to organize this by era, not just a big list.--Wakefencer 18:40, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
Titans West
editI made some corrections regarding Titans West. There were some errors regarding membership (regarding who was on the East team and who was on the (brief) West team). Someone might want to separate out tables for the orignal team (ending around 1970, last member being Gnarrk), and the late 70's revival (members who joined then were Bumblebee and Harlequin). Bat-Girl and Golden Eagle were never member of the main (East) team in the 1970's, and Beast Boy did not join the East team until the Wolfman/Perez revival.
Take Steel IV off the list!
editNatasha Irons didn't join the Titans. She wanted to, but her uncle wouldn't let her. Weither she has at some point is unknown.
Regarding Wiki Comic Project guidelines
editIn light of the conversations here and here I'm editing the lists to fall in line with the guidelines spelled out on the Project pages, specifically:
Regarding material from yet to be published issues...
editSince then general guide line is to wait until an issue is published, I've removed the list for Deathstroke's Titans East. Granted the issue has been solicited, and there are interviews out giving teasers about the team, but changes happen.
If the info is shown as correct next month, the section can be added back. If not, it can be added back and corrected... — J Greb 23:57, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
This is getting extremely silly
editWhile I'm all for listing the various codenames a character used, it should be limited to the names used when an active member of the team.
That means the following should not be included.
- Dick Grayson: Batman - He was not active with the Titans for the (very short) period he used the ID. (By the same token that he is only listed as "Nightwing" on the JLA list.)
- Donna Troy: Wonder Woman - She only took up this name with in the past year, well after her death and rebirth. Since her return she has not been active as or with the Teen Titans.
- Roy Harper: Red Arrow - He only just took up the name in the past month when he joined the JLA. He hasn't had a chance to use it as a Titan or in conjunction with them. (By the same token he is only listed as "Arsenal" with the Outsiders and "Red Arrow" with the JLA.)
- Jason Todd: Red Hood and Nightwing - Both have been used solely for villainous purposes and long after he left the Teen Titans. Neither have been used by him when working with the team.
- Bart Allen: Flash - Same situation as Donna and Roy: He just started using this name and has yet to act as a member of any team under it.
- Kyle Rayner: Ion - During both stretches where he was using this name the only teams he worked with were the JLA (first stretch) and the Green Lantern Corps (second).
- Jesse Chambers: Liberty Belle - She hasn't worked with the Titans since she lost her speed. She has only appeared as Liberty Belle as a member of the JSA.
- Hank Hall: Monarch and Extant - Same as with Jason:These are villainous IDs, neither of which were used while working with the Titans, or as one.
- J Greb 16:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- I've quite frankly never seen in any source material published by DC Comics membership roles listing Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Monarch, etc as members of the Teen Titans. Nor would it make sense...these are adult personas hence not "teens". These former teenage heroes graduated into adult roles after their membership with the Titans had ended. It is really quite simple...we are looking at matters from an objective chronological point of view and the above does not fit in this type of list. If the editor making these reverts would like to state their case, we'd be open to hearing their rationale. However, at this point there does not seem to be any that would encourage inclusion of these code names. Regards. Netkinetic (t/c/@) 17:24, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Add to the above list:
- Malcolm Duncan: Vox - That name was taken when he joined the Doom Patrol and has never been used as a Titans member.
And on a slightly different note: Duela Dent - Full name is already properly listed under identity.
Crystal Ball, NOT (appearances and listing from unpublished issues)
editJust to try and keep things on an even keel, can we not add information that is cited to books that have yet to be published?
Just so everyone is on the same page: Teen Titans vol. 3, #47 is shipping to stores this week. As in Wednesday the 30th of May. There shouldn't be anything attributed to it, #48, #49, or #50.
That said... could someone please check the the "Titans East" arc to nail down Jericho's resurrection, and if he's rejoined the team prior to #47?
As for Supergirl and the Blue Beetle... that can honestly wait until issue 50 ships folks. But if you absolutely, positively, gotta put it in before any story is published showing either as a member, just cite the Newsarama story and leave the "Joined" field blank.
Teen Titans in the DCAU
editTeen Titans in the DCAU isn't really applicable to a 'List of' page, but moreso on their character pages. That would be fodder for a 'list of characters who happened to be Titans and appeared in the DCU in other places.' --Ipstenu (talk • contribs) 17:32, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Titans Tomorrow
editDo the Titans of Tomorrow and the Kingdom Come Titans need to be listed? It seems their time lines all still exist to some degree as the Titans of Tomorrow are coming back and Kingdom Come has its own Earth.
- No, only characters that were actualy members of the Titans should be listed.. not alternate timelines or other dimension members. (Spanneraol 00:40, 27 July 2007 (UTC)).
- But these timelines still exist in the 52 worlds, so couldn't they be considered "elseworlds Titans?" They have all appeared as Titans in the main timelines as well
- A separate page listing elseworlds Titans maybe.. I wouldnt call them part of the main team.
- What would be considered continuity. Kingodm Come and TItans Tomorrow both exist in the new Multiverse —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.164.136.207 (talk) 16:16, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

- 1 small question and 2 observation:
- Question: Was any group, in-story, called "Teen Titans" with in Kingdom Come or The Kingdom?
- Observation 1: The current Teen Titans writer, McKeever, has stated at the Baltimore Comic-Con ( about 1/4 of the way down ) that the Titans Tomorrow are from the future of the current primary time line.
- Observation 2: The list already includes an "alternate timelines or other dimension" members list in the section for the animated show.
- Comment: I can see changing the layout of the list slightly so that the headers run:
- Teen Titans / Titans
- Original Team (1960's-1970's)
- New Teen Titans
- Arsenal's Titans
- Atom's Teen Titans
- The Titans
- Teen Titans Post-"Graduation Day"
- Ancillary teams
- Titans West
- Team Titans
- Titans L.A.
- Alternate versions (new section)
- Teen Titans animated series (renamed from "Titans members in the Teen Titans animated series")
- Titans Tomorrow (new section and in presentation order)
- Teen Titans / Titans
- This isn't that much of a stretch given how the list is currently set up. - J Greb 17:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- To Answer your question there were Kingdom Come Titans. They appeared in the Titans title written by Devin Greyson in the late 90's early 2000's. 24.164.136.207 00:23, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- There is a difference to the characters just appearing, and the characters appearing under a specific team name. To the best of my knowledge, none of the Kingdom Come characters commented that the set, or their kids, were operating as either the "Teen Titans" or "Titans" in any of the appearances. - J Greb 22:43, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Kingdom Come Titans were the children of the originals, Red Arrow(Lian Harper), Nightstar, Darkstar, Aquagirl, and Kid Flash(Iris West). They save Donna Troy and refer to themselves as the Titans from the Kingdom Come Timeline in the Titans series. 24.164.136.207 13:52, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Titans Tomorrow clarification needed
editAre there two separate teams or are they supposed to be the same one? If it's one team, where is the Drake created clones thing coming from? - J Greb 22:45, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- In teen titans 51 it says that kon-el and bart allen ded and that the ones on the team were clones24.164.136.207 22:04, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- For a bit more clarity then: Are the deaths referred to in the future, but after the "Titans Tomorrow" arc, or are they the current continuity deaths?
- If it's the first case: Bart and Conner did not in Infinite Crisis and "Fastest Man Alive" but did die at present+10 years, then I can see how they would be two separate characters. Otherwise the argument goes "retcon" or "two separate teams". - J Greb 23:28, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- I would tend to agree. The characters should only be listed once and some mention of a "retcon to clone" perhaps. Spanneraol 00:06, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- The deaths that are referred to occured in continuity and when they actually occured, in Infinite Crisis and Fastest Man Alive. The timeline fluctuated killing the original Superman and Flash of Titans of Tomorrow so Batman from that timeline cloned them. there is no retcon24.164.136.207 13:49, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Here's the problem, there are at least three ways that can be read:
- In c.2015, after Robin and the Teen Titans leave, Superman and Flash wink out of existence and Batman scavenges old DNA to create the clones before the rest of the time line collapses.
- Sometime between 2007 and c.2015, Drake perfects a cloning process and recreated Conner and Bart. This is a retcon since there is no direct mention of Superman and Flash being Drakes handiwork in the 2005 story.
- The Titans Tomorrow from the 2005 arc are not the same characters as from the 2007 arc.
- If there is an in story statement that option 1 is the case, ie Batman saying to Robin something along the lines of "After you left, reality started to change. I had to create Conner and Bart from the DNA up.", that citation, issue, page, and panel(s), needs to be added, both here and to the Titans Tomorrow article.
- And as a side note: The way Johns wrote the first arc and the OYL material, there is an inference that the c.2015 Superman was Conner 2.0. Inclusion of that though, without a reliable, verifiable source of Johns, McKeever, and an editor stating it unequivocally, is fan spec and OR. - J Greb 15:26, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

League of Titans
editIn Final Crisis 1, the League of Titans was introduced consisting of Empress, Mas y Menos, and Sparx. They fought the Secret Society. Based on the Titans in the name, they should be added as an ancillary team. Jgreb says there needs to be a consensus so the vote is 1 FOR and 0 AGAINST 24.164.136.207 (talk) 00:04, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually I'm more concerned that there be more than an editor here assuming that the character grouping is part of the Teen Titans just on the group name.
- Have you got a citable source like:
- An in story reference by an actual Teen Titans or Titans member that the quartet were acting as part of the Teen Titans.
- A comment in an interview with the writer or editor of the book stating the same.
- A reliable secondary review putting forward the theory.
- Either the first or the second is a lead pipe cinch to add the group as an ancillary here. The third is a good base to try an build a consensus for that. But laking any of those, it original research that does not belong here. - J Greb (talk) 00:56, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Morrison and Jones said in an interview that the quartet were trying to start their own group of Titans in a Newsarama interview 24.164.136.207 (talk) 13:20, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think their are two issues here.. 1) Is this group affiliated with the Titans and 2) Does appearing only once as a throwaway line in two pages of one issue make them notable enough to include.... #1 is very unclear and a matter of opinion but even if they are loosely affiliated I still think that the answer to #2 would be no... the appearance is so minor that they shouldn't be mentioned. Spanneraol (talk) 13:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- The new Titans East only appeared in a one shot, so why are they on the page? I don't understand why not include a little extra?24.164.136.207 (talk) 20:37, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- First, dig up the Newsarama interview. That site is very, very good about archiving so it should still be there.
- Second, equating the team that was set up as chum for Teen Titans East Special to the walk on chum in Final Crisis #1 is beyond a stretch. Winick went out of his way, both in interviews and the story of the one shot to show the links. This is up to and including Cyborg's stated intention of starting an "East Coast franchise". Empress' team lacks that. - J Greb (talk) 21:36, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Titans East has an entire issue about the team and the aftereffects of that issue are still being mentioned. The "League of Titans" appeared in only a couple of pages where nothing of note was revealed. If they develop into something in the future then we can perhaps add them. Villanous Titans
editShould there be a section with the membership of the Terror Titans and the Deathstroke Titans East? 24.164.136.207 (talk) 13:24, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- The title of the article is "List of Teen Titans members" not "List of Teen Titans foes".. so the answer is no. Spanneraol (talk) 13:47, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- But they use the name Titans, and what actually qualifies as membership to the Teen Titans? Aren't Evil Power Rangers still Power Rangers, so don't evil Titans count as Teen Titans?24.164.136.207 (talk) 20:36, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- And the Titans of Myth aren't included even though they are reference with the term "Titans" and they had a strong presence in the revised origins of Donna Troy. And speaking of her, the "Titan Seeds" also aren't included.
- All of these fall outside the core premise linking the lists on this page: heroic, or obstentiously heroic (Titans Tomorrow), that flow from Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl working together. - J Greb (talk) 21:43, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Titans of Myth makes sense because chronilogically they would come first, but the other two were a result of combatting the main team by an evil form of emulation. And what are Titans Seeds? 24.164.136.207 (talk) 00:27, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

RE: Terra
edit"Thought to have returned in "Things Change" with memory-loss, although it has never been confirmed that this is the real Terra. She joins again later on in the series"
"Things Change" was the last episode, how could she "join again later"? Especially when it wasn't even confirmed to be her in that episode.

i suppose it has to do with what happened in the books (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teen_Titans_Go!), but ill add an [citation needed] at least...
also i guess its arguable how that is relevant to the ANIMATED series.. but Teen Titans Go! mostly goes on where the animated series ended.. Divinity76 (talk) 17:59, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
RE: Jinx
editThe sentence needs to be rewritten by a native-English-speaker; as is it makes little sense. Poor subject/ object, loose pronouns, shifting tenses, run-on.

images?
editi would like to see an image portraying the characters... think it would be cool; any1 mind if i add some?

- A single group shot would be OK, but likely contentious. But an image of each character isn't going to fly. - J Greb (talk) 16:06, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
New Titans Monthly

False Information - "Kid Mercury"
editUnder "The Titans" section, there has been misinformation in an edit made on the 13th of July, 2021. An anonymous user edited the section to say Wallace West joined the team in the 1999 issue, Flash 110. The problem is, Wallace West isn't even in that issue, nor are the Teen Titans (according to the DC Wiki). Wallace West didn't even exist then. Wallace was the name used to differentiate the original, Caucasian Wally West from the black character who took the identity during The New 52 - the Wallace distinction was created after the original Caucasian Wally was brought back into continuity in Rebirth.
Some things worth noting: The issue listed is a random issue in the middle of a story arc. But the original issue that was mentioned, Flash 110 (from 1959) is the first appearance of the Caucasian Wally West. Which again, that iteration of Wally did not join the Titans in (they wouldn't exist for another 5 years, let alone with the Titans name san "Teen" for much longer), but as I said is notable for being the original Wally's first appearance.
Furthermore, they list Wallace as "Kid Mercury". This is not, and has never been a canonical name for any version of Wally OR Wallace as far as I can tell, and certainly not any mainline counterpart of the two (a quick search on the DC Wiki for Kid Mercury or a glance at the articles of any mainline iteration of the two will reveal this). Searching Kid Mercury on google, however, shows results from a popular piece of fan work which gave the (non-canonical) moniker of Kid Mercury to Wallace.
Finally, Wallace has been a member of the Titans, but for reasons I mentioned, not from 1999 onwards. The proper team designations for Wallace (Defiance, Teen Titans, Titans) and the appropriate issues where he joins said teams are present, but under the name Wally West II (which is just as valid as Wallace for the character, I'm just noting this as this false entry has the discrepancy of referring to the character as Wallace while the correct entries on the page list him as Wally West II).
At best, someone saw the aforementioned fan work and somehow misconstrued the original Wally West's appearance as when Wallace joined the Titans, before attempting to fix it to make more sense, having a date after the team actually existed, but didn't account for the fact Wallace did not exist at that point, and at worst someone is trying to spread misinformation on purpose for some unknown reason. Looking into the user's contributions may possibly give an insight to their intent, but regardless of intent, I recommend reviewing their other edits to ensure they haven't spread misinformation on other articles and to delete the Wallace West entry under "The Titans" section and see if this article has any other misinformation. 159.196.168.198 (talk) 21:58, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
