Episode Numbering

edit

I've read that the first 8 webisodes will actually form a 2 hour pilot episode, and I read somewhere else that subsequent episodes of approx 45 minutes will be made up of 3 webisodes. The problem is that this show isn't aired as complete episodes like regular TV shows. So, should each webisode be counted as an individual episode, as they currently are, or should the article be changed to count them as just one part of an episode? Right now the numbering is confusing. Webisodes and regular TV episodes share the same numbering (eg 1.1). I'm going to change it so it makes more sense. Asterixsmeagol (talk) 18:20, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Style for TV lists?

edit

Hello, is there a suggested style for TV episode lists? The current page reads like a series of teasers to watch the episodes, rather than short summaries of what happens. Thank you. LovesMacs (talk) 02:22, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree, these sound like the blurb you read in TV Guide. Is it acceptable to copy episode summaries from Sci-Fi Channel's Sanctuary episode list? If so, does it need to be linked? If not, I could re-write the summaries to read less like teasers. How long should a summary be? They seem to vary by show. Asterixsmeagol (talk) 17:46, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

New page for Each Season

edit

I think that since Sanctuary is having full season 3, so there should be made separate pages for each seasons like every other popular shows. Please work this out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nasirakd (talkcontribs) 17:06, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I don't think this is necessary. The page does not seem that big. However, I'd rather not have season pages contain nothing but episodes, I'd want more (production and reception), otherwise it would go against WP:NOTABILITY and be rederiected again. I will consider it as time progresses. -- Matthew RD 17:52, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Okay, its good that you will reconsider it. by the way what do you mean with the word "rederiected?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nasirakd (talkcontribs) 14:43, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Oops, sorry, I meant to say "redirect". -- Matthew RD 16:00, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please explain why an episode summary should not include information about the relationship between that episode and the webisode it was taken from, and where you would like to see that information go. Rick Norwood (talk) 16:12, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Because the episode summary is for the plot of the episode. How about in the production section on the main article? It was also unsourced so WP:SYNTH applies. Xeworlebi (talk) 17:05, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Season 3, Episode 20 TV Guide lists this episode title as "EXODUS" Does this episode have two titles? Tkjohns007 (talk) 01:16, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

No, just one, "Into the Black", it has been said on Numerous other sources, including the Futon Critic, Syfy website, and the episode itself, which features the one title on screen. I didn't see "Exodus" included. -- Matthew RD 08:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
