Travis Yanan

In a discussion at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard, the contributions of Travis Yanan were discussed. Travis Yanan is not his real name and therefore his blogs and twitter account constitute anonymous sources. As such, they fail the requirements of reliable sources and can not be used as references. That Tvbythenumbers may link to them is not justification for use here. It is justification for questioning TVbythenumbers, which has been done on several occasions. Unfortunately, we've never reached consensus and so Tvbythenumbers continues to be used. This is the wiser course; use Tvbythenumbers and not Travis Yanan, as Tvbythenumbers doesn't exclusively use Travis Yanan. If you look at the WP:RSN discussion you'll see that one editor justified use of pifeedback.com for the same reason used in this edit summary. That editor is now blocked indefinitely because he insisted on continuing to use that unreliable source. --AussieLegend (talk) 03:32, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
