Article Cleanup

edit

What sort of things should be kept and cleaned from this article? I've started removing bits of the article that refers to game play (which chapter they appear in, are they a boss, how strong they are, etc.). I was thinking of removing the support choices as well, but that seems quite related to the characters themselves.TsukiKanade (talk) 22:29, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Other game reference

edit

I have seen a few references to characters from previous fire emblem titles, this really is no help to people who have never played any other Fire Emblem titles, so I'm going to get rid of those references. Guess who i am 12:49, 2 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merge in G's Mercs?

edit

I've redirected the tiny Vigarde stub into here. Does Gerik's Mercenaries really need to exist? Why can't that information be here? I guess I can see how the Big Three might merit their own article (though they could probably be merged as well), but G's Mercenaries don't really have an excuse for their own article. I agree. There is nothing in the G's mercs article that we can't simply add to the main character list.—Theodorel 22:17, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I've redirected it. -Theodorel 23:19, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Joshua Merge

edit

What do you think about it? I'm giving two days notice. The merge will be postponed if there are any reasonable objections. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 15:06, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gheb

edit

Somebody just changed Gheb from a redirect to an article. Perhaps it ought to be changed back to a redirect? --Coppertwig (talk) 02:51, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

That needs to be redirected straight away. Ashnard Talk Contribs 07:33, 7 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Natasha/Knoll ending

edit

Somebody keeps adding that Natasha and Knoll ought to have had an ending because that's what the support conversation implied, but there wasn't one and there is no evidence that one was intended. The person keeps adding that it was a possible oversight, which I take to be speculation.

I have removed it twice now, but I don't think that will deter whoever it is from adding it again in the future. I can't figure out who is doing it either. Any thoughts or any way to help stop this person? EikaKou (talk) 00:44, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I can't think of a way to stop this person without them getting onto an account. And they probaly think themselves justified in adding this speculation, I personaly would have much enjoyed seeing an ending there which sadly did not happen. They do seem to have some justification in saying that the speculation deserves to be mentioned, but I'm not sure if that's enough justification. It's not that it couldn't have happened that is the issue, it's just that doesn't exist. I admit that it's implied that an ending could have happened, but this person seems to believe that the developers just forgot. The developers could have easily just decided not to add it, rather than it being just an oversight as this person claims. But since there isn't any more concrete evidence supporting this person's claim, I think of it as speculation, which is not appropriate according to the guidelines for wikipedia. An implication does not have the proper justification to include this on the page, regardless of how many people believe it could have happened.
Since it keeps getting added on, I've commented out the information and with a message to discuss this on the talk page. EikaKou (talk) 21:31, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
It should be removed per WP:RS, WP:V and WP:OR. A hidden note should be left and if it is added back in, it should be treated as vandalism. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 01:22, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

How is L'Arachel pronounced?

edit

I never was able to figure this out, but how is her name pronounced? --Soopa Pingasman (talk) 14:47, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
