@Imzadi1979 reverted this edit out of the good-faith belief that the phrase "farm-to-market road" is a proper noun in this context. I wholeheartedly agree that the name of each farm-to-market road (for example, Farm to Market Road 1781) is a proper noun, but I haven't seen the source that suggests that the Texan practice is to capitalize the phrase when it is not part of the name of a specific, individual road. ~T P W 15:34, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

@True Pagan Warrior: [1], p. 14 for one example. In Texas, they do not hyphenate the phrase, and they do capitalize it, thus "Farm to Market Road" or "Ranch to Market Road".

Any discussion on changing this one article would impact dozens of others, so at a minimum, the change should have been reverted to prevent one article from being inconsistent with many others. Imzadi 1979 → 21:16, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
