...Why are all the synonyms I listed before relisted as valid species? And even what appear to be typos of existing species listed? (e.g. longicostalis vs "longicotalis") I don't particularly trust the use of ITIS, GBIF or CoL as anything but sometimes useful secondary sources to back up otherwise already sourced taxa names, but even then they often seem to be outdated or even inaccurate.

I'll have to go through this species list again when I can just to fix all these problems. Bleh. Monster Iestyn (talk) 05:12, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
