Merger/move

It looks like the merger was more or less done, but the old page was never redirected here and the title was not changed to reflect that this is not just the TV show. Merge proposal

I come with this proposal to merge this list into an appropiate article because none of these characters have managed to prove notability (bar Cruella, obviously, but she has her own article), making appearances only within the 101 Dalmatians franchise and Disney media. My only concern would be that the information on the characters in the books and movies would be merged into an article on the television series. I personally would prefer renaming this article and dropping the "Disney" part of it as it contains information from the originally books which are not Disney and the name gives undue weight to the movies and the television series. I was thinking about the same. My proposal there is to create a "Characters" section in the novel article and add the characters' appearances in the book into that section. Same with the films: add information of the characters' appearances in film into the respective articles. The pages of Cadpig, Lucky, etc. can be redirected to the book article since they are characters originating in the novel. However, none of these characters are notable, so a list for them is not separately needed. --LoЯd ۞pεth 18:40, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

The merge into the article on the TV series is being performed, since the primary focus of the list is on the TV portrayals and voice casting. Cadpig, Lucky and Rolly are not the only main characters in the rest of the franchise, and Spot originated in the series. And even with the right focus, the characters in this list have not managed to prove notability outside the franchise, and a reiteration of plot is violation of WP:WAF.

Attending the concern of User:Miyagawa, the pages of Cadpig, Rolly and Lucky now redirect to The Hundred and One Dalmatians, since it is the work in which they originated. Spot redirects to the TV series. --LoЯd ۞pεth 02:52, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
