I've removed this character - the link to a main article for her is dead and there isn't a single Google result for her. Given that the name Kylie was unheard of in the UK prior to "Neighbours" (launched in the UK some 26 years after "Coronation Street") I'm assuming this is someone's idea of a joke. (Following my last) Where there is reference to a dedicated article, I think it is helpful to provide a summary of the relevant parts of that article - in the present case, the opening phase (1960). I think describing the later events would be off-topic. I don’t know if you have any comments on this scheme. Last paragraph of David Barlow section

Is there any source to confirm this magazine story about the survival of David Barlow existed and, if so, any evidence that it had any official status - it seems unlikely something that would have been agreed by Granada at the time and I am not sure if this is just a hoax, a piece of fan fiction or something else entirely.
