"one of the few females at Firehouse 51", I am not sure I like this introduction to Gabriela Dawson. It as if although it's implied that the firehouse is somewhat sexist. I don't know, it gives a wrong vibe. Callmemirela 🍁 ^talk 03:34, 8 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please keep it chronological. The list should introduce characters then explain what happens to them throughout the seasons. For example it should talk about Lieutenant Casey and introduce him as he was in season 1. Then after that it should explain what happens in the other seasons in the order they happen and as part of that eventually mention that he is promoted to Captain in season 6.

The description of the character should not start with their ranks or occupations from the later seasons.

Overview edit

I made a WP:BOLD change and removed some details from the Overview table. The hint is in the name "Overview". It seems best that the table only provide an overview and introduce or establish the essential details about the characters when they first joined the show. (For example it might be better to list Gabbie Dawson only as a Paramedic even though she later become a Firefighter, but for now I've left both.) The table was too big and more detailed career history and rank changes are best left to the individual entries below and not the Overview table.

I hope this makes sense to most editors and I don't expect this will need much discussion but the article will continue to require maintenance as some editors will always try to add extra details in good faith, even in a section that is clearly titled "Overview". -- 109.78.207.200 (talk) 16:07, 21 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
