Talk:Linnaeus's two-toed sloth

running backwards edit

I have not been able to find any source that supports the claim of this sloth running backwards to avoid danger. Many other sites cite this page as evidence but this page offers none. It may be time to remove this section unless support can be found. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:3016:2622:8000:88AB:1F8:FBFE:FD2 (talk) 16:58, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

unau edit

I added "unau" as an alternative name. I'm not sure if Choloepus hoffmanni (the other type of two-toed slot) is also called "unau". dave 21:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Linnaeus's Two-toed SlothLinnaeus's two-toed sloth — Per wp:MOS, "The initial letter of a title is capitalized (except in rare cases such as eBay). Otherwise, capital letters are used only where they would be used in a normal sentence." ErikHaugen (talk) 17:29, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Agree; sloths are not among the noted exceptions at Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(fauna)#Capitalisation of common names of species. Powers T 13:11, 10 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
