My edits to your page were mainly grammatical/punctuation/typo edits as well as adding hyperlinks for certain terms that might not be common knowledge. I noticed that most sections did not have any citations at all; every fact you write should have a source cited to it, so definitely add those in! Also, while the sections you can add are directly dependent on the amount of literature there is out there about your bee, I felt like this page could've used a wider breadth of information to make it more well-rounded. For instance, you could talk about behaviors other than raiding behaviors like mating. Finally, there was a sentence in the Taxonomy section that didn't quite make sense to me and I wasn't sure what it was referring to. You write that L. limao "visits nests of the same family, most notably Trigona." It isn't clear what kind of behavior this is referencing, so maybe a few sentences clarifying this would be helpful. I made several typo/grammar corrections and added a few links to other wikipedia pages, but overall the stuff you have is well written. The article needs a lot more in text citation, as wikipedia encourages the use of in-text citations after each individual fact you include. More information is needed regarding other areas of behavior, like colony initiation and brood rearing. Adding to raiding behavior, I was curious about what factors lead to different outcomes, as you mentioned that only sometimes will the invaders kill the victims of their raid and take over the nest, as well as what leads to initiation of small/mass raids. You included the fact that these bees have not been studied much, so good luck finding more information and continuing with your research. Melliott132 (talk) 00:34, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

Peer Review

This article could do with some hyperlinks for some more of the words that have not already been hyperlinked. I think there needs to be a section on sexual selection/mating behavior. I am also confused on what the bees are consuming? Is it food from other nests of the same species that have already gone on raids and gained materials? This article also needs a lot more citations as mentioned before, since whole sections are missing the references for the information that is there. I think this article is interesting in that it thoroughly went through the Raiding Behavior of the bee. However, since most of the focus is in this section, some of the other sections lose some attention, specifically any mentioning of a type of diet. I made many minor edits, including some spacing errors in between words and sentences, syntactic errors, and also reworded some sentences to better the flow of the article. For example, I changed the last sentence of your beginning paragraph to: ¨Because robber bees are so rare and difficult to observe, there is a limited scope of information available.¨ instead of ¨...to observe, it is little studied.¨ I found the article to be pretty informative, especially since you mentioned that there is a minimal amount of information out there for you to even research. However, I think this article needs some more work in a couple of sections, such as more for behavior. There isn´t much currently within the article regarding behavior besides a few subsections for their raiding behavior. Perhaps it would be beneficial for the article to add more on their colony cycle, ecosystem role, their predators, and others. However, I do understand the fact that there may simply just be limited information for you to find. Regardless, I think this is a great start to an article with a lot of potential! Additional Comments

I would suggest looking over this article and adding in more citations. The second half of the introduction does not have a citation as well as the last few sections of the behavior area. It is important to remember to cite at least at the end of each section even if the information in the section immediately following comes from the same source so that the citations are clear. There were few citations which made it difficult for me to go to the sections and figure out what sources could have been used, so I suggest that the author goes through as they will be more familiar with each source and the information each provided.
