Genres

I looked through Google Books, and I could see mentions of the band performing "hardcore punk" and "post-hardcore" and "punk rock", but I could not see mention of emo. On the Google News listings, I see a review of their greatest hits album which mentions Leatherface as being cited as a precursor to "emo" music, but not as performers in the genre, so I removed the mention of the genre from the lead. I'm not familiar at all with this band, so I don't know how their genre should be described, but the guidlines state to aim for generality, which means to only include genres that were most commonly performed by the band, and not to include subgenres—I.E., punk rock is fine, but not hardcore, etc. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 10:09, 17 February 2009 (UTC))

Untitled

I think that the content now justifies the article's existence, but I'll leave that to other Wikipedians to decide. Note also that there are four articles linking to this page.

Can anyone provide a reference for the Jack Rabid list cited in the article? It was published around 1994 in a music magazine (I don't recall which one). Dbtfz 17:32, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

".....notable element being Stubbs' rasping, "gravelly" vocals" - yea, which sounded very much like Zig & Zag, the puppets that used to be on The Big Breakfast. Once you realised the similarity, Leatherface could never be taken seriously again!

Discography

It seems to me like the Discography is for Stubbs, not the band. If this is true, the Discography section and everything included should be removed from the page. Astapor12 (talk) 20:20, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
