Untitled
editNeeds a sentence or paragraph of introduction defining what makes an order lawful and putting it in context. Alternately we could define when an order is unlawful. RJFJR (talk) 17:17, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
US-centricity
editI believe the article should be altered to be more universal and not directed solely at the concept of Lawful Orders in the United States Military. If this is deemed acceptable, I will add information about the concept. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.62.41 (talk) 16:31, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Merge proposal
editIn order to give readers the broadest possible historical perspective, I propose that this article be merged with Superior Orders. In order to keep this discussion all in one place please visit this link to participate in the discussion: Talk:Superior_Orders#Merge_proposal.

- After over a month of not seeing any discussion on Lawful Orders, I redirected it to Superior Orders. (Besides, the page "Lawful Order" did not have any citations itself.) Please see this discussion and rationale for the redirect: Talk:Superior_Orders#Merge_proposal - Boyd Reimer (talk) 22:10, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
