Biased, pro-landlord

Considering the unequal power dynamic between landlord and tenant, I think this article should mention popular criticisms of some landlords exploiting the human need for shelter by using their extra capital to buy up homes they don't use for the sole purpose of price gouging inelastic demand.

I propose just citing the most famous/influential economists of history? They're rather unanimous, on this subject though this is not widely known by the public. Leftists like Marx and Mao aside, the following is a quote from Adam Smith, one of the greatest capitalists of all time:

"As soon as the land of any country has all become private property, the landlords, like all other men, love to reap where they never sowed, and demand a rent even for its natural produce. The wood of the forest, the grass of the field, and all the natural fruits of the earth, which, when land was in common, cost the labourer only the trouble of gathering them, come, even to him, to have an additional price fixed upon them" (Wealth of Nations, Book 1, Chapter 6, paragraph 8).

I therefore feel like this article could be biased even staying within a market economy framework. Varying positions on the legitimacy of private property could be added later.
