NPOV failure

The inferences section suffers from NPOV failure. What does it mean by "inferences" in the first place? Whose inferences? I am not particularly sure about the utility of this section. Srikumar (talk) 00:27, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Proposed move

Should this be moved to Land Acquisition Act (India)? Singapore and Malaysia have acts with similar names. Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:44, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Quoting the Act

I really do not see the point in quoting large chunks of the Act word-for-word. We are an encyclopaedia and our main function is to provide information based on paraphrases of reliable (usually secondary) sources. It isn't our role to simple reproduce primary source text etc which is available elsewhere.

This article would benefit from reliably-sourced material that reflects the origins, workings and effects of the Act but not from mere quotations of it. - Sitush (talk) 18:18, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
