  • Are there no photos? No articles in other wikis to link to?
  • Is "(Marxist–Leninist)" between brakets part of the name of the party?
  • You should mention as soon as possible that this is set in India. The state, or worse the districts, may be unknown by most audiences, unless clearly described as states or districts of India.
  • If "CPI (ML)" stands for "Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist)" you should have used the short form right after the first mention of the long name, so that the meaning is clear when you use only the short name.
  • "Background" is very poor. There are no links to good articles with further information. It goes directly to talk about "Several violent armed clashes", but there's clearly missing info. Which non-armed disputes took place before the armed ones? What kickstarted the armed violence? Who was in government? Which was the nature of the "hard offence" that forced the CPIML to disband in several groups? And the worst is the ending: the landlords organize in gentries, and "In retaliation" the CPI creates armed squads. Seriously? A group of people organize themselves in a group, and it is something so grave that it justifies the creation of an armed militia?
  • "From 1970s to 1990s, regions of Bihar (including Jharkhand) turned into widespread caste and class based conflict zone. Several clashes between the landlord militias and the ML factions led to widespread killings on both sides. Central Bihar and parts of Uttar Pradesh turned into battlegrounds." Again. That's the introduction. Where is the rest? Bihar is turned into a warzone for 20 years, and there's nothing else to say about that period?
  • If "The issues contributing to the conflict were both social and economic in nature", you should be able to write at least two decent paragraphs about them.
  • What about some names? Did this organization have some leader or leaders? Some noteworthy member? Someone related to them in some way?
  • What did the government of India do about this organization?
  • The infobox must go in the article about the military conflict, not the article about a faction of it. And yet, Caste-related violence in India seems to be more a list of incidents than an actual article that helps to understand this whole conflict.

In short, the article needs a huge expansion in almost all of its content. It is decent new article, but that's it, it's nowhere near being "complete". Cambalachero (talk) 17:36, 2 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
