Bollywood-sounding female vocal sample edit

Up till now (07/06/2013) the article contains very profound information about the music video an its underlyings. On musical level I wonder who the female voice singing "La la La la, lalalala lalala" belongs to. Was this recorded by Shahid Khan's team itself or is it a sample? If sampled, it would be good to add information into the article from which track this sample had been extracted. --Paunaro (talk) 11:33, 6 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

The citation for the "Sound of India" sample collection claim doesn't actually mention this. The original link is now dead, but even a version found in the web archive doesn't back up this claim. https://web.archive.org/web/20131030073906/http://www.mobo.com/news-blogs/spotlight-meet-2013-best-song-nominees-disclosure-naughty-boy-rudimental-wiley-and-wretch

There are errors in the 'writer' and 'producer' section The writer 'Frobysher' should be spelt 'Frobisher' and the writer 'Al-Hakam El-Kaubaisy' should be credited as 'Komi Al-Hakam El-Kaubaisy' The producer credit is 'Naughty Boy & Komi' not just 'Naughty Boy' see below for reference http://www.italiancharts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Naughty+Boy+feat.+Sam+Smith&titel=La+La+La&cat=s http://www.swedishcharts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Naughty+Boy+feat.+Sam+Smith&titel=La+La+La&cat=s Thanks

Not done thosw websites run ny Hung Medien rely on user input for covers and credits. The current credits are taken from iTunes which inturn gets their credits from the record label. --— Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:46, 28 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
upon release of the album we can use the official booklet for the 100% correct credits. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:10, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

In response to the answer above, the booklet of "Now 85" - which contains "La La La", lists the the producer as "Naughty Boy & Komi". Could we correct the Wikipedia page to reflect this? See the picture below from the CD booklet http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/ud1r.jpg/ Thanks

  Done "Komi" was added as a producer. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 16:23, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Credits edit

Can I just point out that we are using the credits for the song per the iTunes listing as provided by Naughty Boy's record labl Virgin EMI Records. Often when a song appears on another album the credits sometimes differ particularly in spelling for foreign names. A classic example of this was "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta where one of the writer's name's appears with accented vowels yet when Pixie Lott covered the song for her album Turn It Up, the accent doens't appear in the credits. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 17:32, 1 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

"At the start, the man the boy escapes from is clearly not a family member. He is white and tall, with a european look." edit

Whoever wrote this is blind as well as illiterate. While I can't find any source so far backing up the 'oral legend' story, the paragraph in its place is pure speculatory nonsense and should be deleted. Mnikr (talk) 17:52, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

haha, i have no idea who created this false oral legend thing, I am the writer and director of the video, and I porpusefully cast that man as he is of a difference ethnicity to the boy. Franco is from an Aymara family, the actor, is "mestizo". The story has nothing to do with this false oral legend thing, which isn't true, but, not sure how to edit it. I'm happy for intepretations to be taken from it, but it's rather annoying to keep being asked about this false oral legend thing. how can it be edited?? Added 'Content' section with narrative description of the music video edit

I hope that description is permitted, sufficiently objective and useful to the article. — lheydon (talk) 09:55, 21 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
