Mascots -- While mascots are typically under the athletics heading, I think they stand for more than just sports. That said, there is a second mascot that should be recognized. While it is completely unofficial, there used to be two mascots on school vans. The bear and the chicken. The chicken should get its due along with an explanation of what it is. Most students who spent any amount of time on campus had a hard time seeing a clock tower, but there was always the ever present, unblinking gaze of the chicken.
