Hi Pat! This is a great, straight-forward article that really gives the reader a clear understanding of what is meant by Kurdish American. (Great lead) I really appreciate the way you organized your article by region, to make clear that Kurds from different regions possess their own respective identities. The organization of your article is also very well-done--working from the broad, to the detailed, and then expanding again to discuss language and culture. One of my only notes is that, in your lead, you touch on the the revival and resurgence of value of Kurdish culture (influenced by the internet), but you do not mention this later on in your article. I would like to read more about the current cultural politics and processes regarding Kurdish Americans, if you do not feel this is outside the scope of your article.
