Wikification and clean-up
editIn order to bring this article up to Wikipedia's quality standards, a lot of information had to be removed from the article. This includes information relevant to Kotli District, most of which is duplicated there (much of this information is copyvio). Links to previously deleted images and some general non-notable information have also been deleted. However, since these edits have been rather drastic, other contributors are invited to comment about them here. Cheers. – Liveste 06:35, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Quote from Jahangir
editRemoved this quote from article Mangral as being not pertinent. Any use for it in this article?
The Mughal Emperor Jahangir when asked about Kashmir, is said to have replied
Persian: "Gar firdous bar rue zamin ast, hamin ast, hamin ast, hamin ast”
Translation: “If there is a paradise on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here”

Double road ? ? ?
editWhat exactly is a double road ? ? ? Tabletop (talk) 03:28, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
- I had a quick look on Google earth and couldn't see anything that looked like a dual carriageway, although its hard to be sure as the image isn't great and the street-view car hasn't made that far yet. I think its probably just a two lane road, as opposed to all the little single track roads in the area, but I could be wrong. Sarahj2107 (talk) 12:07, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
