What are tcons and wcons and why can't we just spell it out? Gspong (talk) 04:30, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good questions. They are: tele-converters and wide angle converters, referring to add-on lenses that extend zoom and wide angle ranges. Since you saw this first feel free to make the changes. Dr.K. (talk) 05:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Help for Newbie edit

Hello. I am a newbie trying to set up a beginner's "wannabe" portrait studio, hoping for at least marginal success in taking halfway decent portrait pics of school kids for a small Christian school, and some church folks for a church directory. I have a Kodak P880 and I have some external strobe flash umbrellas that slave off each other, and one of them has a radio receiver that gets a flash activation signal from a transmitter mounted on top the P880. I can get the strobe flashes to go when I snap a picture, but I cannot seem to figure out how to set the P880 camera to wait for the light from the external strobe flashes. It seems to grab the picture before the light from the strobe flashes arrives. I can get it to leave its shutter open way too long, which allows in more light, but also permitts lots of blurry motion to be caught. I came here in hopes of reading something that will help a total newbie know where to start. Can anyone give me any help? Thanks in advance. DougJoseph (talk) 16:59, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
