Pornographic career
Several editors have attempted to include unsourced or poorly sourced information on McDaid having starred in a porn shoot as a teenager (the comment above is an example). Those edits have been reverted (I reverted two of them myself). Obviously, this being a WP:BLP, we have to err on the side of caution in including/excluding information which is not sourced from a respected, secondary publication (as the guidelines make clear, "with the greatest care and attention to verifiability, neutrality, and avoiding original research"). Are there any sources confirming this information that meet WP:BLPSOURCES? Without them, it cannot be included. --Lincolnite (talk) 21:33, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- Presumably you are taking into account the sources that are already cited in the article which explain his adult modelling background. The fact that this happened is not in question. Whether you feel the categories rating to this are relevant is a different matter of whether it is significant for this article. Fæ (talk) 21:42, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
- Simon rex only briefly made porn in 1993 but it is still inlcuded in his categories.
