Hi @Sunnya343: I will review the article for GA and do minor corrections myself while going through and come back here with other points. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 03:59, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I was not expecting a review so early. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:42, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Logo used in the infobox has fair-use rationale. Rest all images are from Commons and good to use.
  • No likely copyvios from Earwig's tool.
  • Please resolve the dead and suspicious links listed here.
The suspicious links aren't actually suspicious. They refer to the website Flightmapper.net, which provides timetables for most airlines around the world using data from the company Innovata (see here and here). I've included links to this site as, according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Airports/page content under the "Cargo airlines" section, a timetable reference should be listed for each cargo airline where available. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 15:20, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • No disambig links.
  • Not compulsory, but images are missing WP:ALT.
  • Not compulsory again, but online sources can be archived.
All links from 1997 to 2014 have been archived. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:31, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • The lead is quite short and does not really summarize the whole article. Please expand it.
Done. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Opening line can be better phrased avoiding the awkward string "Bangalore, Karnataka, India." Maybe use "Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka." Or something such whatever you like. India should not be wikilinked.
Done. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Done. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Lead says airport is 28kms from city. Construction section says 33km. Resolve this conflict.
Done. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:54, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Fixed using Ucucha's duplinks tool. I left duplicate links in the "Ownership" as they are important there, and a reader may have skimmed over them in the History section. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 02:31, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Renaming section comes as a surprise when no other name is mentioned before it. What was it called before?
I added the original name to the paragraph above "Opening". - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 02:31, 31 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
Can't really find it. Where? Also, if its not so easily visible, its better to mention in the "renaming" section itself. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 08:25, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I had changed the subsection names afterward. I have now placed the new name at the start of the Renaming section. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 02:55, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "same length as existing runway 09/27". What's that 09/27?
09/27 refers to the orientation of the runway. If you see the Runway section of the infobox, you will see the runway referred to this way. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:12, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I get it now after reading Runway#Naming. Maybe you should add a foot note to explain this nomenclature style. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 08:25, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I reworded the first paragraph to have it start with "Runway 09/27" so the reader will recognise it later on. I don't think a footnote would be necessary, as I don't see this done in other airport articles including GA ones. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 15:07, 3 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
That's assuming all are familiar with this nomenclature. If you don't want a footnote I would suggest at least wikilinking "09/27" to Runway#Naming. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 05:56, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I have wikilinked 09/27. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 23:21, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "It is expected to take two years to construct". Since when?
I removed this sentence. No exact date/year is yet known, and completion could be in 2017 (groundwork started 2015) or 2018 (article published early 2016). - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:12, 1 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

More comments to follow. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 05:10, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Ref 45 & 46 seems to have some errors.
Corrected. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 02:55, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • The two tables on Statistics section can be merged into one as "years" on left side of the table are same for all.
Done. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 03:01, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • I could not locate the stats data from the ref provided.
If you click on each year and then on each month, a list of Annexures (PDF documents) appear. Annexures II and III contain aircraft movement and passenger data respectively. I had to add the data for each month to get the year value. I just cited the entire database - would I have to cite each Annexure individually? - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 03:06, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
That's a huge task you have done. But WP:V could mean that links to individual pdfs be presented. There is nothing wrong in linking all pdfs. It would be easy for others to check. Also, when you cite individual pdfs, make sure you add page number in reference. I would also suggest you add the figure itself in reference using |quote= function. Also, as many references would be used, you can next them all under one reference per year. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 05:56, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
How would I combine all the references? Please see what I did for the year 2015. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 23:20, 4 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Check how I combined or "nested" refs together. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 10:40, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I have finished that for all years. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 22:24, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Dharmadhyaksha: I believe I've finished what you recommended. Do you have any other comments? - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 14:08, 11 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the delay @Sunnya343:. Now we go ahead...
  • "Car" and "Bus" can be merged to form a single section "Road". Also, lets place this new "Road" below the "Rail", thus arranging it alphabetically.
Sections merged. Is it OK to keep Road above Rail since the metro rail link is still in very early stages? I would put the more important and currently relevant Road section above Rail. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:14, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yeah... that seems reasonable.
  • Wikimedia Commons has many images of destinations of this airport, but none of them have been used in "Airlines and destinations" section. Any reason why?
Images of the destination airports are not included in airport articles. Only images of aircraft at the article airport. See examples: Heathrow Airport (scroll to statistics section), Haneda Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Delhi Airport. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:14, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
I still wonder why they kept making those images if they are not being put to use. I was thinking maybe you don't want to use it as its not very easy to keep updating images. So was gonna suggest some other way out. Anyways... this isn't FA.
  • The Passenger destinations table is a mix of both domestic and international destinations. These should be marked differently; maybe use colours along with symbols like #, $, †, ‡, etc. Air India could be tricky one here as it has both domestic and international destinations.
This is not done in other airport articles, see examples above. Also, according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Airports/page content, "Do not separate flights into domestic (national) and international." - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:14, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok.
  • Also, what common source is being used for this passenger's table?
Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Airports/page content, #10 under Body: "For current destinations, the implicit reference is the airline's published timetable. If the flight is in the timetable and not challenged, an explicit reference is not normally included." - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:14, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok.

@Dharmadhyaksha: Thanks so much! So nice to see the little green circle in the corner now. My next good article goal is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Regarding the destination map issue you raised, I misinterpreted your comment. I thought you were taking about images of the actual destination airports, like London Heathrow etc. Anyways there is consensus not to have maps of the destinations as they are considered redundant info. See the discussion here. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 04:49, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
