Uh, maybe I missed the point, but, if you mention the Whisky Trail, shouldn't you link to it? Or describe it? Or leave it out? (Let me mention: it runs through, for instance, Dufftown, Tomnavoulin, Marypark, & Tomintoul.) Trekphiler 03:37, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

The point of red-links is to encourage those who know about the red-linked subject to start an article. Please feel so encouraged! Saga City 05:48, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Small change made in reference to Banffshire, as many residents of the area still prefer to use 'Banffshire' rather than 'Moray', although Moray is officially the correct name for the area. - 81.159.4.147 16:40, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scottish Gaelic is a Goidelic tongue, not Brythonic. The suggestion that the town's name derives from coed ("woodland") seems less plausible than the Scottish caith ("battlefield"). --24.91.92.176 (talk) 04:35, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

History & culture section edit

Some major oversights:

  • St John Ogilvie
  • MacPherson's Rant. MacPherson was caught and killed in Keith.
  • The Beatles undertook their very first tour to Keith and several other Scottish small towns. Albeit as the "Silver Beetles". Surely worth a mention.
