A few requests.
editHello, there. I've been meaning to join this project for the longest time now, and finally decided to. One major reason I joined was to try and help improve the articles of my favorite Pokemon. To improve these articles, I'll need a few pictures that are hard for me to come about. The following is what I need for Kecleon:
- I need pictures of both Snorunt and Kecleon in the videogames.
- I'd prefer a screenshot of when you encounter one with a Devon Scope, if possible. I'd also like a screen of Steven giving the trainer (male or female, preferebly not from Emerald) the Devon Scope, or, even better, using the Devon Scope on one.
- I need TGC scans for Kecleon.
- He only has one, I think. The Sandstorm one. I'd prefer one of decent quality that I can use.
- I'd like a screen of Kecleon from the anime. I'd prefer the one from the Johto episode involving the blimp; the name escapes me.
I also need a few things for Snorunt, the other article I'm working on. If anyone would like to help, what I need is listed on The Pokémon Collaborative Project Talk Page and on that of Snorunt.

Original Research
editIt would seem that many Pokémon related articles break Wikipedia's original research policy. This section stuck out to me immediately:
- Kecleon's name is a portmanteau of heckle (meaning to wind rope around, like its spiral tail) and chameleon. The Japanese name Kakureon is a portmanteau of kaku meaning to hide, conceal, or cover; and chameleon.
First, the sentences are not sourced and second, Kecleon and Kakureon are the same name (the English version is just a transliteration of the Japanese "Kakureon" -- people who know Japanese will tell you that the 'u' isn't always pronounced and the 'l' and 'r' characters are the same). I am removing the first sentence in this paragraph for the reasons outlined above. This should insure greater accuracy. :) Drumpler 00:52, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
