I saw You mentioned Capillaria in the Kazohinia#See also section. I think now, that these two novels are rather different, both in genre and topic. Maybe after a thorogh rereading both novels I shall see more similarities, but now I don't have such feeling. Physis 02:11, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Under the "Publications" section, the article mentions that there is a dispute on whether Szathmári has originally written the novel in Hungarian or Esperanto. The afterword of Gépvilág és más fantasztikus elbeszélések, 2nd edition (Magyar Eszperantó Szövetség, Budapest, 1989) which is written by Benczik Vilmos says the following on this.
- [...] s 1935-ben új regénybe kezdett, a Kazohiniába.
- A Kazohinia – amely a szerző állítása szerint eszperantó nyelven íródott (bár ezt az állítást a filológiai vizsgálatok cáfolni látszanak) – 1937-re készült el, de magyar nyelven csak 1941-ben jelent meg, eszperantó nyelvű kiadása pedig 1958-ban látott napvilágot, ez utóbbi Párizsban.
Translated, this means the following. In 1935, [Szathmári] has started to write a new novel [the old being Hiába], Kazohinia. According to the author, Kazohinia was written in Esperanto, but philological studies seem to disprove this. The novel was finished in 1937, but it was published in Hungarian only in 1941; in Esperanto it was published in 1958 in Paris. The afterword later discusses that the 1941 edition was heavily censored; that the uncensored edition was published in 1946, and that that edition also contained the author's afterword “A szegény csepűrágó dala”, and that this afterword was included in this very volume of Gépvilág because it was missing from later editions of Kazohinia.
Indeed, my 1972 Hungarian language edition of Kazohinia (Magvető Zsebkönyvtár, Budapest, 4th edition) does not include “A szegény csepűrágó dala”. It, though, has an afterword by Dezső Kereszturi, which mentions the afterword of the 1946 edition, and seems to indicate that it is omitted by the will of the author.
