• How does WIlliams 2016 meet WP:SCHOLARSHIP?

Would you consider something like "In the 1930s Chapin was living in Philadelphia, where her husband practiced law for many years."? This places the emphasis on our article subject rather than her husband

• I think we generally put poems and similar length items in "quotes" and larger works in italics
  • This is tricky. I used italics for And They Lynched Him, Plain-Chant, etc, because they're not just poems. I was thinking of them as analogous to operas (see usage of italics in, say, Aida), since they were set to music. Not averse to changing them to quotes, though. AleatoryPonderings (???)
