Categories of kambala

edit

Hello; I have edited this article generally to read more smoothly. It states, "A "Kambala Committee" arranges races in several categories like Kane Halage, Hagga Hiriya, Hagga Kiriya, Halage, Adda Halage etc." Unfortunately, I don't know the language, as many readers will not, and neither of the two citations explain them. This would be instructive as to how a kambala is conducted; however, if there is no suitable source, we should simply delete this list of foreign words that was provided with no explanation. Not sure what those terms mean in the Indian language but Edgar Thurston 's book describes the race here Hope it helps. Linguisticgeek (talk) 23:00, 23 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
I moved your comment here from my talk page. I found a blog that describes typical racing categories and added a summary. You are welcome to add that book as an additional citation. Spike-from-NH (talk) 00:24, 24 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
