My thoughts exactly. Angela 00:24, Oct 15, 2003 (UTC)
I tried to make it more understandable. (There was little context given and three unexplained TLAs in the first sentence.) --Mrwojo 02:31, 15 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Request to share the acronym

edit

There is a new specification from the Object Management Group, which also has the acronym KDM - Knowledge Discovery Metamodel. How about we create a root KDM node what will have links to both KDE Display Manager and Knowledge Discovery Metamodel? Any objections or concerns ? Equilibrioception 22:04, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, I have done the relocation of the page KDM to "KDE Display Manager" and have corrected all references to avoid double redirection. The new KDM page is now shared by both "KDM"s. I have accidentaly created an extra page "KDM Display Manager", so please help me remove it. Thanks.

Inherent insecurity

edit

KDM has an optional autologin feature; despite the inherent insecurity of this, users sometimes request it.

I do not see why this should be "inherently insecure". For instance, on a virtual machine there are no security concerns and the login box is only a nuisance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fph (talkcontribs) 16:41, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
