Unless there's a citation for the claim that "Easton was reputedly outraged", that remark should probably be changed to read "Easton later appeared in an episode and literally stole the show from a (temporarily) dazed and confused Julie". Spoofing herself as an evil mastermind doesn't quite square with claims she was offended.
It might also be clarified that, like the original airings of "Beavis & Butthead", each 30-minute episode of JSJ was actually 12 minutes of story wrapped around five music videos with sarcastic voice-overs from JB. A format that makes it hard to syndicate or release on DVD without ruining the original flavor.
Isn't there a better way to say that Julie had a 'rivalry' with Downtown Julie Brown than: "At times Brown was 'jealous' of having her show on the same network that featured another person with the "same name", who was the host of Club MTV and whom she would refer to as the "Evil Julie Brown"."
