History
This comic strip (Frazz from 26 August 2012) makes claims about the history of the slogan. Does anyone know anything about the actual history, from a proper reliable source (e.g., not just someone's blog or a comic strip)? WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:10, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi WhatamIdoing.
- Better link: <http://www.gocomics.com/frazz/2012/08/26> (thanks for the parenthetical pointer!).
- I imagine the comic is based on this piece from the New York Times from August 19, 2009: <http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/20/business/media/20adco.html>. The retrieved date of this news article in our article is "August 26, 2012." My guess is that you weren't the only one who saw this comic. It just so happens that while you posted on the talk page, someone else dug up a proper citation and added it to the article. Wikipedia is neat. :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 04:27, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
