Please remove the section of the josh duggar article about his 2021 arrest that discusses the content of the video found on his laptop. I did not wish to know the details of that video and have now spent the entire evening mentally spiralling because of it. Please either add a warning about the description of the video or remove it entirely. 2603:6000:B547:5096:8D29:DCEC:47CA:CF9E (talk) 02:32, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

Note: I do agree the description is probably too graphic, but it is backed by a source, and as noted above, Wikipedia is not censored. That said, I did remove the following statement by Carney (see my edit description) and added a note about Peter Scully, the creator of the video, as the article seemed to imply it was Duggar's creation. I'm still open to remove the description, as the video wasn't made by Duggar, but I would rather seek more consensus first, as we usually should involving controversial material like this.   Question: Yes, WP:NOTCENSORED, but is there really any gain from the final sentence describing the video? A HSI agent describing it as one of the top five worst... and cross linking to Peter Scully is relevant, but I can't see why the actual content of the video is, if he had no part in creation of it. — IVORK Talk 04:10, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
I'm in favor of shortening it as well. I'd only mention that Peter Scully made it, and that it involved an 18 month toddler to show why it's in the HSI officer's "top 5". The rest just makes the prose unnecessarily graphic.  Ganbaruby! (talk) 08:26, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
I've trimmed some of the graphic detail/duplicate quotes. Feel free to trim it down further, but to be honest this all kind of makes me nauseous and I don't want to look at it any more. ‑‑Volteer1 (talk) 08:46, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

Thanks, I agree with the above, but I didn't want to remove it unilaterally and couldn't bring myself to write about it at the moment. I'll probably try to stick with less-icky topics. ASUKITE 13:41, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

I apologize, but I felt compelled to say that "Vicarious Trauma" is a very real thing and anyone who has seen a disturbing video that is finding that it may have impacted your mental health, it would be wise to discuss this with an appropriately-trained licensed therapeutic provider. (hugs). — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShannonMcCoven (talkcontribs) 15:03, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
