@JPxG: I've emailed to you the scan as the town clerk gave to me on July 15, 2021. It is exactly as I show in the article. The scanned images have not been substantially edited or altered and are true and accurate scans. I have a vested interest in getting this exactly correct to show that John Caldwell's given name at birth was "George Washington" and that his father's name is John Caldwell and that his mother's name is Jane Caldwell. That is the best I can do, unless you are willing to send me an email and I will forward back to you the communications email from the town clerk verifying these are true scans. I will include the PDF she sent me, which is what I have already sent to you. @JPxG: The town clerk of Ridgeway (where the 1849 birth record of John Caldwell is located) sent me this message on July 15, I am sorry to say that the only information that I have is the exact same image that you already have. I see no alterations in the original. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know. If you will send me an email, then I can forward this thread to you (with her contact information) and you can contact her by phone or email to verify these scans are the true image as I am showing in the article. I have a vested interest in this to get it exactly correct and it is very important to me to show this correctly as I am showing in the article. I recommend that you either contact the town clerk, fail the nomination, or promote the article to Good Article status (highly recommended). @JPxG: The original 1849 black & white scan image I provided has been verified by the town clerk of Ridgeway as being correct of the information they have in their records. Since you are not willing to contact the town clerk and are not willing to accept the images I have provided, then I would recommend you just fail the nomination. Apparently you want an image of your choice that has not verified by the town clerk of Ridgeway as true and correct of the information they have. That would not give the correct information and would be a distortion of facts. I highly recommend that you promote the article to Good Article status, since it has met all the requirements, or just fail the nomination. Then I can resubmit it GAN and get an experienced reviewer and they will just promote the article to Good Article status since it meets all the requirements. I have had 175 of my articles promoted to Good Article status and I have created over 500 Did You Know articles with images. I know what a correct image is and the 1849 original image I provided as John Caldwell's birth record is correct. It has even been verified by the town clerk of Ridgeway as being correct and having the same information they have in their records. Please promote the article to Good Article status and follow up with the necessary final steps -OR- fail the nomination, so I can resubmit GAN and get an experienced reviewer and they then will promote the article to Good Article status. I have had 22 of my GAN articles promoted to Good Article status this month and am aiming for 30 -> so I will not be playing around with this one any longer, as it now has become a waiste of time. I want to do something constructive with my time, like getting more Good Articles. It so happens that during last year's GAN drive that happened in two months (that had 31 days each) I got 62 articles promoted to Good Article status. So, as you can see I made on average one Good Article per day. All these articles were reviewed by several different top reviewers that have much experience. All the top reviewers in the GAN arena know me and the quality of articles I produce. All I have to do is get one of these to review this article and it will be promoted to Good Article status.
