Article name edit

Please note that the article should not be moved to its English translation, as it is universally referred to by its french name. --Storkk 14:22, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Surely having a redirect point here from an English title won't hurt... - Mgm|(talk) 18:30, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Surely it won't hurt. The problem is that there are many ways the title can be translated, none of which are in usage in English. "Fast of Geneva", "Geneva's fast", "Genevan fast", "Genevese fast" (the last is what you'd get putting it into babelfish, i believe) -- Really, it is universally referred to with the french name, even by people who speak no French. Anywhoo... redirects are cheap. I won't object to them being made. --Storkk 21:39, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
English speakers in Geneva call it Jeûne genevois. Gwen Gale (talk) 12:12, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dates edit

The dates were all in a strange format, I changed that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arthurian Legend (talkcontribs) 20:43, 22 September 2006
