The World War I JG 2
Is or isn't there a historical connection between the two JG 2s?

Article seems to be well arranged and researched in terms of WWII but lacks totally the history of WWI and founding history.--Panth 12:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC) |

Adding diff; my rationale was: "c/e; npov; unsourced / dubious". --K.e.coffman (talk) 01:39, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
Spurious source given
The source listed as [1] is less than worthless, it is misinformation. This book was propaganda written by the Allies during 1941 to provide their view of what was occurring during 1941, even if "what was happening" really wasn't. References such as the Allied archives, the German archives, and those references written after the war have shown this source to be spurious. The numbers given are, in every instance, several magnitudes lower than German kills claimed. The Luftwaffe was hyper-vigilant when it came to kills claimed; there had to be a witness and then the claim had to be reviewed by the wing commander. I suggest: 1. that this source be stricten from this Wikipedia article and any other Wikipedia articles that contain it, 2. the correct numbers given. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtmorphine (talk • contribs) 07:41, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
